Aginera is in the Claude Connectors Directory. Connect it once and ask Claude to read your drawings: run a takeoff, total quantities, pull measured routes and schedules, export to Excel, turn a PDF drawing into editable CAD — or turn a floor plan into a furnished 3D dollhouse and room images.
Connect in Claude
- In Claude open Settings → Connectors and search for Aginera (or open the directory listing).
- Click Connect, sign in to Aginera, choose your organization and approve the permissions. Delete permissions are off unless you tick them.
- Ask Claude, for example: “List the takeoffs on my Riverside project and total the conduit by size.”

Is Aginera available in Claude?
Yes. Aginera is listed in the Claude Connectors Directory (https://claude.ai/directory/aginera). In Claude open Settings → Connectors, search for Aginera, click Connect and sign in to your Aginera account. It works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, and in Claude Code.
How do I convert a PDF to CAD with Claude?
Connect Aginera, then ask Claude to convert the drawing, for example "Convert the floor plan PDF in my Maple Street project to DXF". Claude checks the PDF with convert_pdf_to_cad and returns a download link from get_cad_file. The DXF of every sheet is free (with an aginera.ai watermark on free accounts); a clean native AutoCAD DWG is $2 per drawing, and Claude asks before paying.
Can Claude turn a floor plan into 3D?
Yes. Connect Aginera and ask, for example, "Turn this floor plan into a 3D dollhouse". Claude adds the PDF, starts render_floor_plan and checks back with get_floor_plan_render; in 5–15 minutes it returns the image links — a furnished 3D dollhouse cutaway, a rendered floor plan and room images, the same reveal as aginera.ai. Every room ($5), a walkthrough film of the house ($19) and a dollhouse remix from your own instruction ($2) are optional add-ons: Claude returns a payment link that you complete yourself.
Can Claude read takeoffs I already ran in Aginera?
Yes. list_takeoffs returns the completed takeoffs on a project or drawing, including ones you ran in the Aginera web app, so Claude can summarise items, measured routes and schedules or export them without running (or paying for) a new takeoff.
What does it cost to use Aginera from Claude?
Connecting is free and reading your projects and takeoffs is free. Running a takeoff, rendering a floor plan and the clean DWG use your Aginera account's credits exactly as the same action in the web app would; billable tools are annotated so Claude asks before spending, and Claude never completes a payment for you.
Does Aginera work with ChatGPT and other agents?
Yes. Aginera is a remote MCP server (https://mcp.aginera.ai/mcp) with OAuth sign-in, so it also works as a custom connector in ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot and other MCP clients, and the same operations are available over the REST API.
Billable actions use the account's credits exactly as in the web app. Listed in the Claude Connectors Directory and in the MCP Registry as ai.aginera/preconstruction.
