Measured, not mocked up
The figures on a portfolio page come from the drawing. Room areas are measured from traced polygons and calibrated against the dimensions printed on the sheet, and the floor plan figure is drawn from those same polygons — so the plan and the totals cannot disagree.
When a drawing cannot be traced with confidence, the plan and 3D sections are left out rather than filled with something plausible. A portfolio that quietly invents a layout is worse than one with fewer figures.

Questions about design portfolios
- How do I create an architecture or interior design portfolio from my drawings?
- Upload a floor plan PDF to Aginera. It reads the drawing, measures every room, and reconstructs the layout as an interactive 3D model. Those results are assembled into a portfolio page — project title, room count, floor area, the measured plan and the 3D model — at a public link you can send to a client. You do not lay anything out by hand; the page is generated from the drawing itself.
- Is the portfolio page public, and do viewers need an account?
- The page is public and needs no login or account to view, so it survives being forwarded. Publishing is opt-in per project: a project is only visible once you publish it, and having a link is not the same as being published. Unpublished projects return a not-found page even if someone guesses the URL.
- What is on a generated portfolio page?
- A studio header, the project title and summary, key figures (room count, total floor area in square metres, bedrooms, largest room), interior visualisations, the measured floor plan drawn from the traced geometry, and an interactive 3D model you can orbit in the browser. Numbers come from the drawing, so the areas on the page match the takeoff.
- Are the room areas accurate or estimated?
- Areas are measured from the traced room polygons and calibrated against dimensions stated on the drawing, then shown in square metres. The floor plan figure is drawn from those same polygons rather than generated by an image model, so the plan and the quoted totals always agree. Where a plan cannot be traced confidently, the 3D and plan sections are omitted rather than approximated.
- Can I use my own branding on the portfolio?
- Yes. The studio name, logo, headline and description come from your organisation profile and appear at the top of every piece. Aginera appears only as a small "Powered by" credit in the footer.
- What file types can I upload for a design portfolio?
- PDF floor plans and construction drawings, including scanned and image-only sheets. Vector PDFs exported from CAD give the most precise room tracing, but scanned plans are handled with computer vision.
- How much does an Aginera design portfolio cost?
- Publishing portfolio pages and the Editorial template are included on every plan, including the free tier. Premium templates — Monograph, Studio Dark and Blueprint — plus walkthrough videos and the PDF lookbook export are part of the Studio upgrade.
