Why this doesn't exist anywhere else

How can you detect clashes without a BIM model?

A coordinated drawing set already contains the geometry — it is just split across sheets. Aginera reads the vector geometry inside each discipline's PDF (ducts on the mechanical plan, piping on the plumbing and medical gas plans, beams and joists on the framing plan), registers every sheet onto the architectural floor plan using the structural grid, and rebuilds one spatial coordination model. Conflicts are detected in that shared model, the way a coordination engineer would find them by overlaying sheets on a light table — but measured, ranked and traceable.

Most clash tools need Revit or IFC files. What do you need?

Just the PDF bid set — the same document every subcontractor already receives. If the PDFs were exported from CAD, Aginera reads their vector linework and layer structure directly. No Revit, no Navisworks, no IFC export, and no waiting for a BIM coordination process that most small and mid-size projects never get.

How do you handle elevations, since plans are 2D?

Honestly — and that is the core of the product. Every vertical dimension carries its evidence: drawn elevations and duct sizes are marked as drawing-explicit, ceiling heights come from the reflected ceiling plan, structure heights are derived from building sections, and anything assumed is labeled as an assumption. A conflict is only called a hard clash when the elevation evidence supports it; everything else is ranked as a potential clash with the exact reason attached. No silent guessing.

What disciplines are covered?

Architectural context (walls, rooms, ceilings), HVAC ductwork and equipment, plumbing, medical gas piping with system identity (O2, VAC, WAGD), and structural framing envelopes (beams, joists, columns). Electrical conduit joins through Aginera's routing engine, where reviewed routes participate as high-confidence geometry.

How accurate is the sheet registration?

Registration uses the structural grid bubbles that every discipline's sheets share, and reports its own error. On coordinated sets, alignment error is typically well under an inch — and the registration confidence propagates into every clash score, so a poorly aligned sheet can never quietly produce false conflicts.

What do I get out of it?

A ranked coordination report: hard clashes, clearance violations, structural penetration candidates and potential clashes — each with the two source sheets, the objects involved, their sizes, the elevation basis, and a confidence score.
