Vector PDF — converts

A drawing exported directly from CAD or BIM tools such as AutoCAD, Revit or MicroStation. Its lines, arcs and text are true geometry, so they can be rebuilt as an editable DWG or DXF. Tell-tale sign: lines stay crisp at high zoom and text is selectable.

Scanned PDF — raster only

A scanned drawing or photo saved as a PDF is just pixels — there is no geometry to convert. If everything blurs when you zoom in, it's a scan. Aginera flags this on upload instead of producing a junk conversion.

How to convert a PDF to CAD
