Can I get an editable CAD file out of either tool?

Why does an AI-generated render get room sizes wrong?
Because a generative image model is predicting plausible pixels, not solving the drawing. It has no representation of a wall as an object with a length, so a corridor can come out wider than the room beside it and a 3 m bedroom can render at 5 m without anything in the system noticing. Grounding the render on geometry traced from the plan is what removes that failure mode: the model renders what was measured instead of inventing what looks right.
