It depends heavily on the sheet. Clean vector P&IDs with a readable legend extract far better than dense scanned or photocopied sheets where instrument bubbles blur together — scanned raster P&IDs are the hardest case and lower the confidence. Every item carries a reference back to where it came from so you review rather than recount, and the system is built to leave an ambiguous symbol out rather than invent a tag. Treat any vendor quoting a single accuracy number across all P&IDs — including us — with caution.
