What each role can access and how permissions affect workflows.

Roles (high level)

Your workspace may enable different roles. Commonly:

  • Estimator / QS: runs takeoffs/estimates and reviews outputs.
  • Supplier: works on supplier-side projects, customers, inbox, and catalogs (if enabled).
  • Admin: manages workspace settings, team, permissions, and governance.

How permissions affect work

  • Projects: who can create projects, view projects, and invite teammates.
  • Documents: who can upload/manage documents.
  • Workflows: who can run takeoff/estimate jobs and edit configurations.
  • Sharing/exports: who can generate share links or export outputs.

If you’re blocked

If you see a missing button or page:

  1. Confirm you’re in the correct workspace/tenant.
  2. Confirm your role is correct.
  3. Ask an admin to update permissions.
