Upload issues

Fix common document upload and preview problems.

Symptoms

  • Upload fails or times out
  • Preview is blank / missing pages
  • Document appears but can’t be opened

Fixes

  1. Confirm file format and size: try a smaller file or split large PDFs.
  2. Check password protection: remove passwords/encryption from PDFs before uploading.
  3. Retry on a stable network: flaky connections can cause partial uploads.
  4. Re-upload: if preview generation fails, re-upload the source file.

If you can reproduce the issue with a small sample file, include:\n- project name\n- file name\n- approximate upload time\n- screenshot of the error
